Turquoise Horizon: 3 Days Island-Hopping in the Andaman Sea
Hundreds of islands are scattered around Phuket with limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons and reefs. This 3-day island-hopping itinerary is built around smart logistics and finding solitude.
Safety
Safety Index: High
On a private yacht, you are in complete control. On public beaches in national parks, show respect for local customs. Boat and hotel staff are accustomed to all kinds of couples.
Day 1: Phang Nga Bay Without the Crowds
Phang Nga Bay is famous for its vertical karst cliffs rising from emerald waters.
Local secret: Hire a private longtail boat early in the morning. Visit the caves of Panak Island and the floating village of Ko Panyi before the big ferries arrive. Kayak through the mangrove forests.
Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga Bay
Day 2: Overnight on Phi Phi
11:00 — Transfer Ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi Don (about 2 hours).
15:00 — Secret Beaches Instead of the noisy centre (Tonsai), hire a boat and head to Pileh Lagoon at sunset. By 17:00 the day-trippers have left and the lagoon belongs only to you. The water glows turquoise.
21:00 — Fire Shows The famous fire shows on the Phi Phi Don beaches and beach parties. Plenty of backpackers and queer youth.
Day 3: Relax and Return
Wake up early, enjoy the empty beach, have breakfast with fresh fruit. By midday head back to Phuket or continue to Krabi.
